Powertrains
With three versatile engine options all mounted to a smart six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift® capability, the 2018 Ford Escape has an option for everyone, plus outstanding fuel economy that every driver will love.
The base S trim comes with a 2.5-liter iVCT inline four-cylinder engine, while the SE and SEL trims feature a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® engine with Auto Start-Stop technology. The Titanium trim offers a 2.0-liter Twin Scroll EcoBoost® that also has Auto Start-Stop, which shuts the engine down when idling to save gas.
Interior Features and Technology
