2022 Ford Edge

You can now get the Ford Edge in five different trim levels: the SE, SEL, ST-Line, Titanium, and ST. With a sleek roof, charismatic grille, and ultra-modern body shape, the Edge is sure to turn some heads. LED headlamps, dual exhaust tips, intermittent windshield wipers, and body-colored rear spoilers are all standard. The SEL trim also offers an optional Adventure package, which adds special all-terrain tires, gray and black exterior accents, a roof rack with black side rails, and an exclusive front bumper. Powered and heated side mirrors and front fog lamps are also available on the higher trims.

The Edge comes standard with a 2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. It pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you're looking for a little extra power, the ST trim comes with a 2.7-liter V-6 engine that can churn out an impressive 335 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque, making it the most powerful in its class. It pairs with a seven-speed automatic transmission.

All-wheel drive is standard on all Edge trims, and the SUV has the ability to tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped, making it easier to navigate slicker conditions while carrying heavier cargo. With a softer, more comfortable suspension system, the newest Edge handles exceptionally well, even at higher speeds. Its slick and agile steering wheel makes it easier to change lanes and make sudden turns. With an average mpg of 21 for city roads and 28 for highways, you can also save a little more at the pump.

The Edge's interior has much to offer, with plenty of space to comfortably seat up to five passengers. A myriad of convenient storage spaces make tucking away snacks and other items for longer journeys easier. Materials are minimalist yet provide the SUV's interior with an upscale appearance, and higher trims add plenty of luxury features, including a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated front seats, leather upholstery, and a six-way power-adjustable passenger's seat. Six speakers, a large 12-inch touch screen display, and a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot are all standard and help ensure that all passengers remain entertained.

The Edge continues the trend of adopting plenty of innovative safety features, including a standard rearview camera, automated emergency braking, and a lane departure warning and lane-keeping assist system. Available safety features include adaptive cruise control, an evasive steering assist system that automatically detects a slow or stopped vehicle and lets you alter course and an enhanced active park assist system that can help you find a parking spot more easily.
