1. Nashville

Some of the spots you should check out include the travertine stalactites and stalagmites inside the cave, the semi-subterranean waterways of River Styx, as well as the different hiking trails that crisscross the park.
3. Lake Malone State Park
Spanning an area of about 340 acres, Lake Malone State Park is a beautiful nature reserve that offers excellent opportunities for swimming, boating, picnicking, camping, and fishing. Established in 1962, this place is one of the most popular day trip destinations among Franklin residents. Located about 45 miles northwest of the city center, this nature reserve can be reached in less than an hour by car along routes KY-100 and US-431.
